Bryan Cervantes, Physiotherapist

Bryan graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of British Columbia in 2006. Since graduation, he has undergone extensive post-graduate training in manual therapy that includes a Certificate of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy through Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia. In addition, Bryan has obtained certification to perform medical acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. He also completed a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology that led him to work in field and office ergonomics. Bryan has worked in a variety of orthopaedic and sports injury clinics and occupational and active rehabilitation programs where he has helped clients of all ages with varying orthopaedic and neuromuscular conditions. Bryan’s interests include traveling which has led him to work as a physiotherapist in Kuwait and Australia. Besides being bitten by the traveler’s bug, Bryan loves scuba diving, is a fan of sports and enjoys an active lifestyle.

Daniel Ciampi, Physiotherapist

Daniel completed his Physical Therapy degree in Brazil, at The Catholic University of Campinas in 2001. He started his career in the hospital setting, working with a multitude of conditions, primarily with cardiac rehab. He devoted the first years of his career expanding his skills with continued education in Cardiology, Exercise Physiology and also working in private practice. Later, he moved into pre and post-op cancer surgery rehabilitation, helping clients regain confidence and achieve an active life style. Since immigrating to Canada he has worked for Back in Motion and developed a special interest for chronic pain conditions and related therapies. Daniel continues to improve his skills with continued education in acupuncture, manual therapy and active rehabilitation techniques. His personal interests include sports such as cycling, running and hiking. If you want to find him, just look around in local races. Needless to say he is a huge “Football” fan and is looking forward to celebrating the 6th Brazilian World Cup title.
